Welcome to
The Creative World of Jorian Clair

Jorian Clair began her theatrical career as a stage actor in Los Angeles at age six, and became an international singer at age 17. She then took a hiatus from show business while earning a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Psychology, and chose to settle in a different career.  As a Journalist, Jorian has earned numerous national awards for her nonfiction feature articles, as well as recognition for other creative works.

Jorian lost her sight to a genetic disease of the retina in 2000, but has never allowed her "invisible disability" to interfere with her goals. She has left her career as a journalist to concentrate on the writing of novels, screenplays and songs; she also is only one test away from achieving a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Now available for purchase from the creative world of Jorian Clair:

“Lost and Found” CD

Be among the first to hear this new extended play recording of seven original songs and “musical monologues” created and sung by Jorian Clair; music arranged and performed by composer/orchestrator William V. Malpede. For those who would journey back into the '40s and '50s, the “torch singer” of another era is evoked by Jorian’s vocal style and her lyrics are thoughtful, passionate and evocative of the human experience of love.

"Tokyo Cowboy"

Tired of reading genre novels written to formulas so predictable the thrill of discovery, of learning something new about life and people is absent from every page? Then you are ready for Jorian Clair's as-yet unpublished mainstream novel, "Tokyo Cowboy." The genesis of this book was her screenplay by the same name, which took fifth place out of more than 13,000 entries in an international competition. Jorian subsequently withdrew the script from the film market to write the story as a novel; the screenplay is now being rewritten. This novel is for those who like a page-turning good read with literary substance, intricate plotting and complex characters, action and romance.
